Prawn & Chill Linguine

Try this easy prawn, chilli and garlicky Pasta Vera Linguine for a speedy midweek meal.


  • 500g Pasta Vera linguine
  • 3 tbsp olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic
  • ½ Red Chilli – finely sliced
  • Lemon zest and juice of one lemon
  • 1/2 glass white wine (optional)
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • Freshly ground black pepper
  • Defrosted or fresh Prawns
  • Parsley


  1. Cook the Pasta Vera Linguine in a large saucepan of salted boiling water, according to packet instructions or until al dente. Drain well and return to pan.
  2. Meanwhile, heat 2 tablespoons of the olive oil in a large frying pan over a medium heat. Add the garlic, chilli flakes, lemon zest and salt, cook stirring for 30 seconds or until aromatic.
  3. Add the prawns and cook stirring occasionally for 2 minutes or until they are just cooked through.
  4. Add wine and simmer until reduced by half  (if not using wine add a little more lemon juice) Remove from heat.
  5. Add the prawn mixture to the hot pasta with lemon juice and remaining olive oil toss until well combined.

SERVE : Serve immediately with freshly ground black pepper and parsley.
